The distinguished guest was welcomed at the Tashkent International Airport by Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov, and other officials.
Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif visited the New Uzbekistan Park and laid flowers at the base of the Independence Monument.
