On the phone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan
On March 20, 2026, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov held a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov.
During the conversation, it was noted that Uzbekistan–Azerbaijan relations, grounded in strategic alliance, are developing at an unprecedented pace thanks to the high level of engagement set by the Presidents of our countries.
The current issues of bilateral cooperation, as well as ongoing regional and global processes, including the situation in the Middle East, were discussed.
The parties emphasized the importance of joint efforts to ensure stability and sustainable development, as well as the continuation of close cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
