On the meeting with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Oman
On February 24, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Albusaidi.
Uzbekistan and Oman share a deep historical heritage and have made significant contributions to Islamic civilization. The sides committed to strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation across all sectors.
In addition, the parties exchanged views on a number of initiatives aimed at further developing cooperation and promoting relations to a higher level.
The Foreign Ministers reviewed the preparation for the Summit of the Heads of State of the Gulf Cooperation Council – Central Asia Strategic Dialogue this May in Samarkand. The upcoming schedule is full with engagements at all levels, and they agreed to promote more exchanges.
