On the meeting with the Ambassador of Canada
On February 18, 2025, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received the credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador of Canada to Uzbekistan Christopher Duggan.
During the meeting, the parties noted that Uzbekistan and the countries of Central Asia are pursuing an active foreign policy and the region's role in the global arena is growing.
Minister noted that there is a great unutilized potential in the relations between Uzbekistan and Canada, and expressed the hope that Ambassador Duggan during his diplomatic mission will contribute to strengthening the existing bridges of cooperation and developing new areas of interaction.
