During an expanded meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan on 27 April 2021, Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulaziz Kamilov introduced Yusup Kabuljanov, who has been appointed adviser to the Minister for Information Policy, Press Secretary and Official Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. 

Yusup Kabuljanov has been in the diplomatic service since 2009.

He has extensive experience in the central office of the Ministry and Uzbekistan’s official missions abroad.

In 2009-2016, Mr. Kabuljanov served as Second Secretary, and then as First Secretary of the Press Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Director of Jahon Information Agency under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In 2016-2018, he headed the Department for Cultural and Humanitarian Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In 2018-2021, he worked as Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Novosibirsk, Russian Federation.

Yusup Kabuljanov is member of the Creative Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan.

He is fluent in English and Russian.

Mr. Kabuljanov is married, has five children.
