Meeting with the Ambassador of Italy in Uzbekistan
On February 3, the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev met with Guido De Sanctis, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italy to Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the current state of bilateral cooperation in the areas of ensuring regional security and the Afghan settlement was discussed.
Mutual interest in maintaining regular dialogue within the framework of bilateral and multilateral diplomatic cooperation was emphasized.
The meeting took place in a constructive spirit and once again confirmed the readiness of the parties to further develop practical cooperation between Tashkent and Rome.
