Meeting of the Foreign Minister with the Director-General of ICESCO
On July 6, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with Salim bin Mohammed AlMalik, Director-General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.
During the conversation, satisfaction was expressed with the Director-General of ICESCO’s visit to Uzbekistan to participate in the opening ceremony of the First International Forum on Islamic Civilization.
The parties also discussed practical aspects of further strengthening constructive dialogue and effective cooperation with ICESCO in the fields of science, culture, education, and tourism.
Particular attention was also paid to the implementation of the Action Plan, which outlines the priority areas for expanding bilateral cooperation and carrying out joint projects in the near future.
