Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and Russia held a telephone conversation
On August 27, 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov had a phone conversation with Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov.
During the discussion, the parties exchanged views on the current state and future prospects of Uzbekistan–Russia relations, as well as preparations for upcoming multilateral events.
Particular attention was paid to expanding cooperation in trade, investment, cultural, and humanitarian spheres, and to further deepening collaboration within regional and international frameworks.
