Shavkat Mirziyoyev

Shavkat Mirziyoyev is the current President of Uzbekistan. Since his election in 2016, and subsequent reelections, he has implemented significant reforms in the political, socio-economic, and human rights spheres. Namely, he has liberalized the economy, enhanced the transparency of public administration, and reinforced the rule of law. Mirziyoyev continues to advance the New Uzbekistan 2022-2026 Strategy, aiming to build a more open and prosperous Uzbekistan.
