On March 8, 2024, Tokyo hosted Uzbekistan-Japan Business Forum. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov, State Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan Ryosuke Kozuki and Chairman of Japan External Trade Organization Ishiguro Norihiko welcomed the participants of the Forum. About 300 representatives of business communities, government agencies, and regions had a chance to discuss the ways to enhance economic ties through bringing more promising joint projects in many areas. Moreover, a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding were signed during the event.
