Prospects for expanding cooperation with American companies were discussed
On January 26, 2024, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Madrakhimov e-met with the Chairman of the American-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce (AUCC) Carolyn Lamm.
During the talks, the readiness of the Uzbek side to support the activities of the AUCC aimed at developing bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as strengthening direct ties between the business circles of the two countries was emphasized.
The sides discussed the prospects for attracting American investment and advanced technologies for the implementation of joint projects in Uzbekistan, in particular in the field of agriculture, food, textile and chemical industries.
They exchanged views on organizing the next round of the Uzbek-American Business Forum this year, as well as inviting representatives of the US business community to economic events planned in Uzbekistan, including the III Tashkent International Investment Forum.
