On April 14, 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman Badr Albusaidi.

During the conversation the ministers touched upon both regional and global situation in the world. The sides underscored the big potential in developing close ties between Uzbekistan and Oman ranging from investment to cultural collaboration. Following the negotiations, the parties signed the Cooperation Program between the Foreign Ministries for 2024-2026.
