On April 14, 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya.

Ministers discussed the strengthening of the legal foundation of partnership, expansion of the investment ties, facilitation of exchanges in all areas. During the conversation, the parties emphasized the existence of big room to develop comprehensive ties between two nations. Following the negotiations, the sides signed the Cooperation Program between Foreign Ministries of Uzbekistan and Kuwait for 2024-2026.
