Meeting with the UNESCO Representative

On January 10, 2024, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Madrakhimov met with the UNESCO Representative to Uzbekistan Sara Noshadi.
During the negotiations, the parties exchanged views on current aspects of interaction between Uzbekistan and the UNESCO. The sides considered prospects for expanding the UNESCO project activities in Uzbekistan within the framework of the implementation of the Uzbekistan-2030 Strategy. Particular attention was paid to preparations for the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference, which will be held in 2025 in Samarkand.
