Meeting with the head of WHO Country Office in Uzbekistan

On January 8, 2024, Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Madrakhimov held a meeting with the head of the World Health Organization (WHO) Country Office in Uzbekistan Asheena Khalakdina.
During the conversation, priority areas of interaction between Uzbekistan and the WHO were discussed. The parties emphasized the need to continue close contacts in the implementation of Uzbekistan – 2030 strategy.
Special attention was paid to intensifying cooperation to expand project activities aimed at developing the Aral Sea region.
