On February 1, 2024, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloyev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Algerian People’s Democratic Republic Mohamed Irki.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects for further development of bilateral relations, as well as the interaction within the framework of international institutions.

The sides considered proposals to intensify political dialogue, realize the existing potential for cooperation in the trade and economic sphere, develop inter-parliamentary contacts, strengthen cultural, humanitarian and tourist exchanges, as well as expand ties between leading research institutions.

The parties agreed to boost ties between the chambers of commerce and industry, as well as business entities of the two nations.
