On March 18, 2024, the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Foreign Minister of Vietnam Bui Thanh Son. 

Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan expressed gratitude for the warm welcome of delegation of our country in Hanoi. The parties ensured that the Foreign Ministries of Uzbekistan and Vietnam are going to closely cooperate to realize the big untapped potential in bilateral relations. Meeting's agenda was extensive and covered many topics. Among others, the sides underscored huge opportunities in economic diplomacy.
