On April 24, 2024, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Cyprus to Uzbekistan Kypros Giorgallis. The parties underscored that regular engagements between Foreign Ministries of Uzbekistan and Cyprus bring new impetus to growing ties, especially in economic dimension.
