First Deputy Foreign Minister met with the Special Representative of Pakistan for Afghanistan

On January 23, 2024, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloyev met with the Special Representative of the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan for Afghanistan Asif Durrani.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for the further development of the Uzbekistan-Pakistan strategic partnership in the trade, economic, investment, transport and communications spheres.
The importance of expanding cooperation in the Afghan direction, in particular in providing humanitarian and other assistance to the Afghan people was noted.
The sides also exchanged views on the cooperation of the two countries within the framework of regional and international organizations.
