On January 31, 2024, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bobur Usmanov held a meeting with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Ankhbayar Nyamdorj.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed topical issues of further development of Uzbekistan-Mongolia relations of traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation.

Wide opportunities for expanding trade and economic ties were noted. Particular attention was paid to the issues of intensifying political and interparliamentary dialogue, improving the legal framework and promoting promising projects and programs of joint cooperation, primarily in the agricultural sector.

The sides expressed mutual interest in deepening bilateral beneficial cooperation.
